Nanny Express started as a small but fabulous group of nannies who enjoyed their profession. In the future, we will do our best to keep the nannies happy and we hope that the team will grow as time passes.

How do I know that the nanny is qualified and trustworthy?

Nanny Express works toward reaching the highest values in this domain. All of our nannies took part in a compelling hiring process with: interview, personality test, psychological exam, supervised training, first aid diploma, foreign language diploma, medical tests to date, criminal record, testimonials file and a monthly evaluation. Please send us all your requirements in order for us to find the perfect nanny for you.

When should I book a nanny?

It is always a good idea to early book your nanny. We advise you too book the nanny with at least 72 hours before she's needed. Last-minute bookings will be honoured if we have available nannies. We advise you to book the nanny so that she will arrive to your location 15 minutes before you leave.

Will I know anything about the nanny before she arrives?

After choosing the nanny you will receive an email with her detailed profile: full name, biography and picture.

Can I meet the nanny before I book her?

Many clients schedule a meeting before leaving the nanny with their child. This meeting will be charged extra. The families can talk on the phone with the nanny without any cost.

How do I book a nanny?

You can book a nanny through filling in our booking form on the website or you can contact us by phone. Please don't book a nanny through SMS.

Can I book the same nanny all the time?

Our priority is to send you the same nanny all the time. Please send us the desired periods of time to be able to do it. We will try our best to send you the nanny you want, but we cannot guarantee that she will be available at a certain time.

What is the procedure for last-minute bookings?

We can honour most of our last-minute bookings. Usually we can send the nanny home, at the hotel or to an event for bookings made one day earlier. For last-minute bookings there will be additional costs.

How do I confirm my booking?

After checking your request you will receive an email with the profile of the nanny and the payment instructions through VISA or MasterCard. After we will receive the payment you will receive on your email the full profile of the nanny with her contact number.

What is the procedure if I need a nanny for an hour or two?

The minimum order is for 4 hours.

How do I send my instructions to the nanny?

The nanny will have a full description of your expectations. Our manager will send you through the email a form that you have to fill in with your requests. All these will be used in order for the nanny to be prepared when she will arrive at your location. Moreover, the nanny will have all the instructions with her.

What will the nanny do when the baby sleeps?

While the child is sleeping the nanny will read a book or work quietly. If you are in a hotel, the nanny will wait for you quietly and the light will be kept low. Nanny Express offers caretaking services for your child. The nannies will not participate in housekeeping and they will not clean the house. The nannies will only organize the toys and things she used with the child while taking care of him.

How can I make the payment?

Every payment is made with a credit card. The minimum of 4 hours will be played before the arrival of the nanny. You will be charged from the time the nanny arrives until the time you arrive home. You will also receive a bonus from Nanny Express: 15 minutes before starting the program and 15 minutes after finishing it. At the end, the nanny will give you a paper you have to sign. After signing this paper, the nanny verifies if the payment was made. The bill will be sent automatically to your email, this is why you should make sure that Nanny Express has your email address.

Do I have to leave a tip?

No. Nanny Express offers all the nannies bonuses, after we receive a positive feedback regarding their work.

Do I have to prepare a meal for the nanny?

All the nannies bring their own food and snacks. If the booking is made for more than 4 hours we advise you to offer a meal for the nanny. If the booking is made for more than 8 hours, we advise you to offer the nanny at least one meal.

What should I do if my child wants to invite a friend over?

Please let us know if there will be more than the children announced in the booking form. We need detailed information about the children the nanny will take care of and about their contact details for emergency situations. Extra charges will be made.

What should I do if the child is sick?

You have to let us know if the child is sick. There will be extra charges for this case. The nannies do not medicate the children (except if the treatment is already prepared- all these being left written in the nanny's papers). If upon arrival, the nanny finds out that she will not be able to take care of the child because of his illness and we weren't previously announced, you will be charged for the cancelation of the reservation.

How do I cancel a booking?

Cancelations must be made with at least 48 hours before the program. When there are holidays the cancelations must be made with 72 hours before:

  • First day of New Year (1.01),
  • Union of Romanian Principalities (24.01),
  • Valentine's Day (14.02),
  • Easter,
  • Work Day (1.05),
  • Whitsuntide (19-20.06),
  • Assumption of the Virgin Mary (15.08),
  • Halloween (30.10),
  • Saint Andrew (30.11),
  • National Day (1.12),
  • Christmas Eve (24.12),
  • Christmas (25.12),
  • New Year's Eve (31.12).

If the cancelation or modification of the reservation is made in less than 48 hours, or 72 hours, you will be charged with the price for at least 4 hours by taking this charge from your card. The cancelations or modification is made only through sending an email or contacting by phone the manager of Nanny Express. The cancelation or modification of the reservation through an SMS will not be taken into consideration. All these without exception.

What should I do if I want to change the hour of the reservation or if we are being late?

Our nannies understand that they need to have a flexible program. With all these, all the modifications must be announced at least 48 hours before the reservation. For modifications made in less than 4 hours you will be extra charged. All the modifications must be announced to Nanny Express.

What happens if the weather is bad, the plane is being late or the event is cancelled etc.?

The cancelation terms of Nanny Express will be applied without exceptions.

What happens if I want to recommend my nanny to my friends?

We appreciate it and we treat it as a priority. But, you must remember that you signed a contract in which you agree that you will not reveal the personal information of the nanny. All these, to make sure that the nanny is safe and to offer you high quality services.

What shouldn't the nanny do?

The nannies will not clean the house, will not wash the clothes, will not drive with you or with your child, will not go shopping, will not deliver things, will not bath your child (except shower), will not medicate the child and will not allow anyone who hasn't been previously announced by the parents in the house.

Must I always do the booking through nanny Express?

All the bookings will be made directly through Nanny Express. The nannies have a contract and cannot work besides it. All the nannies respect their contract and their agreements and we hope that you will do the same.

Can I meet the executive team from Nanny Express?

Currently, Nanny Express offers its services in Bucharest and neighbouring areas, so the executive team can meet with you in this area. In the future, we want to be capable to meet with all the clients because we wish to deliver our services in all the cities.
